About the portal

Klimatilpasning.dk is a shared public portal where all knowledge about climate adaptation is gathered in one place.

Purpose of the Danish portal

Climate change affects the entire society, making climate adaptation a comprehensive societal initiative that relies on preparedness from citizens, authorities, and businesses alike.

Since climate adaptation takes a societal effort, Denmark has established a shared public portal where all relevant knowledge is gathered in one place.

The purpose of the portal is to provide citizens, municipalities, waste water companies, and businesses with the best possible foundation for assessing the consequences of climate change.

The portal presents the latest knowledge, guidance, tools, and data on climate adaptation.

Goal of the English version of the portal

The goal of the English version of the portal is to provide information on how climate adaptation is regulated and implemented in Denmark, as well as to offer guidelines for international visitors and English-speaking residents. The portal features knowledge, practical advice, interactive tools, and a catalog of projects that can serve as inspiration for everyone.
